Could use regular buy out - dbell646
That is what i originally meant. I knew he wasnt eligible for complaince. I just thought buyouts(even regular ones) had to be completed before UFA started today. Isnt that what Bart was getting at? |

Landing anyone of these guys from the Ducks for Martin would be HUGE. Cogliano, Etem, Smith Pelly, or Rakell. Mostly promising young guys and the key is that they come cheaper than Martin. Theyre certainly in go-for-it-now mode...but any way Ducks need Pauly that bad? - YouMeAndDupuis9
Ducks are pretty deep on D. They don't "need" him.
I do like the Ducks pieces we could get in return.
Their GM came out and said he isn't moving any of the young guys. I'll assume he was speaking the truth. |

He hasn't been the same the last few years. He's getting old and worn down. |

Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun 1m
Stuart to Colorado for a 2nd round pick and a 6th round pick
IF Stuart got a 2nd and a 6th Martin could do way better. |

Good point. Probably being too optimistic. Their forwards are like our young D though. Very very deep.
If we get rid of Scuds I'll keep Martin for this season and go for it all. If we're stuck with Scuds, I'd trade Martin. |

Dunno... focus is just on the Caps flopping... also (frank) Ovechkin, in general.
edit: Roster says 9 was Dupuis for that year |

Ryan Miller is the next goalie to ask for a trade out of Vancouver when he is blamed for everything. |

Anytime somebody falls down a veiled reference to Vitale can be made. Also, the puck didnt hit the goalie in the chest or ring around the boards high and wide so I know it wasnt TK. |
