Toka was good but small.

We have Price for 5-6 decades and Fucale

The new guy drafted will be better than fucale

Betting on one season, where the player was on the same PP unit as Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz and Neal. Bound to fail.
- Jean_Perron

Caps can offer a decent PP.

Or DLR or that new Sekac guy

don't know if they are ready...especially De La Rose.

Andrighetto is a midget, I know...but he reminds me a lot of Gallagher.

Drives the net, and seems to have a knack for being right place and right time. Already is a far better skater than Gallagher as well.

Doubt it.

Fucale got tired at the end of the season with those 103149324 games played. I'm quite sure he could become a decent goalie.

To be fair to Niskanen, he played important minutes with Martin and Letang hurt for long stretches.

But yeah, massive overpayment.

How's the concussion ?

We can add another midget if he's really good ( although I'd prefer not too)

What about Thomas ?

Lehkonen just signed a 2 years contract with Frolunda in the SHL, so he's not coming here until 2016 at least.

I think Andrighetto has more potential. We'll see, Hamilton was such a cluster(frank) this season...should be more interesting for 2014-15

And that's ok.

We have a full lineup right now.

Yes some of the kids we mentioned could fore MB hand to make him room.. but this team is set for Oct.

Like it or not.

Will be a tough season and will be hard to make it in the playoffs... again.

True. But will he even be used there with Mike Green already being there?

Caps have an expensive D-core now...

Orlov (2M) - Green(6M)
Alzner(2,8M) - Carlson (4M)
Orpik(5,5M) - Niskanen (5,75M)

So does the laightgningne...

Hedman (4M) - Stralman (4,5M)
Carle (5,5M) - Garrison (4,6M)
Brewer (3,9M) - Gudas (1M)

The East lost Iginla and Spezza today.

Sens got worse, Buffalo didn't get a while lot better, Pens got worse, Leafs got a bit better with Komarov imo, but overall the East didn't improve much.

Habs got slightly better but don't have a legit first line center still. Lightning got better but they were a playoff team last season anyways.

Rangers got worse too imo.

Yeah but they wont have their no1 goalie hurt each future playoffs, so that's not good.

Not sure he is as gutsy as Gallagher(not many players are), but he plays hard for a small guy. His main strenght is his ability to make plays at high speed. Kind of guy that would have fun against bottom pairings.

Depends. If Cakes is as good as suggested there will be at least another guy who can do something with the puck.

They got better adding grandpa Robidas and subtracting Gleason. Komarov helps the PK, but the loss of Bolland hurts it. I think they got a bit better, a bit.
