Something like this I guess
Pax-DD-PA
EGG line
Bourque-Plek-Sekac
Prust-Malhotra-Weise (Bournival)
Emelin-PK
Markov-Gilbert
Beaulieu-Weaver (Tinordi)
I like Bournoval, good energy, but no finish what so ever - fidopro
Switch Emelin and Markov and put an X instead of Sekac name and so far this is the 2014-15 Habs edition.
As for Bournival he doesn't have less finish than a guy like Prust and he is the fastest skater of this forwards group, still developping i ser him as a legit 3rd liner |

I agree. Pouliot will disappear now, counting his money. |

As it stands, I would assume that the opening day lineup would look like:
Pacioretty-DD-PA
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Gallagher
Bourque-Eller-Weise
Prust-Malholtra-Bournival
Moen
Sekac kid as the wildcard.
Markov-Subban
Emelin-Gilbert
Beaulieu-Weaver
Tinordi
I would still like to see a center shipped for a winger so that 27 can play center. |

And yes... making room for 27 will have to happen soon enough |

I've been hoping to see #27 to play center for a while now...seems like it won't be next year neither...

Maybe they'd trade Eller if he asks for too much. No way he should earn north of 4M.

Wonder if they don't ship Moen to pressbox, drop Weise to 4th and let Andrighetto and Sekac battle for remaining winger position.
Also, while I sure hope to see Eller as 2nd line C, you can bet that Plekanec will start there and that Eller will have to earn it this time around. |

You're probably right for Markov and Emekin, but if they really want to manage his icetime, have him on PP and PK, he cannot play 1st line minutes IMO. Maybe this year, but not for ever.
As for Sekac, I don't know the kid. No one here does. So nobody knows if he'll start with the Habs or if he'll play in Hamilton. My guess is that he's the most talented player left, ahead of all the 4th liners I listed. (Moen, Prust...)
As for Bournival, you're right, he doesn't have less finish than Prust, but he doesn't have more either. I want my 3rd line to score goals, that's why I placed him on the 4th. |
