I have mixed feelings about this. I like NTCs, but not as a bargaining chip. I'm sure there are still players who take enough pride in the logo on their jersey to deserve a NTC

For me there's no doubt when Sidney Crosby, Bobby Ryan, and Jack Johnson are the only guys taken in front of you in your draft class that means you have a lot of natural skill (world class). It's unlikely he'll ever get to reach that -- but has a few things you can't buy - speed and size. It's also a big thing that he WANTS to play here. I think bringing him in is a great fit but hopefully not the "big move(s)" we're hoping for this week
