so you're putting right-handed D-men on the left and left-handed d-men on the right?
Such an idiot...
I don't think Parenteau should be on the first line. I think losing Gallagher's drive on that first line will hurt DD and Pacioretty...(unless it was for an all-star, like Vanek for a time last year).

The Flames were aggressive pre-draft. Offered to take on Mike Ribeiro for 12th pick (Ribeiro wouldn't waive). Ultimately, he was bought out.

Great news all over.
Parenteau and a pick for Brière.
Gorges likely to be traded.

He's 31. I don't think he'll miraculously start scoring at a point-per-game clip.
I think the 50-pt mark is a realistic objective, but not a given.

considering that the 12th pick belonged to the Coyotes all along, that's somewhat peculiar.
unless he means they offered to take Ribeiro if they got the 12th as well. yeah that must be it. |

Flames made a trade offer for Cam Ward in exchange for Carolina's 7th pick. Obvious salary dump opportunity. Hurricanes declined.
Yeah, they're just being salary dump whores |

Briere was in no-one's line projection...so he wasn't even 4th line material.
He was healthy scratch material.
