but what is real? they tried to trade him, he turned down the deal.
if they don't find a trading partner in the next day or so, he's staying a Hab.

Wow!! What a play.

are you saying they leaked the info to put pressure on Gorges? because in no other way could this be being handled poorly. they tried to trade a player. they're allowed.
- DoubleDown

They tried to trade a player with a NTC to a team that he wouldn't allow...

Anyway, it just seems like they're hell bent on getting rid of him like he was some sort of cancer.

I do hope they get rid of him, but in a respectable manner... I know....

All of this.

I find it hard to believe that it would be tough to move him.

I'd love a team who overpaid me as well. Not easy for him I am sure, but again, his feelings are irrelevant to me. In the room, I suppose it could be a negative. Could also be that MB is "giving the team" to PK.

Well, you can think like that yes, but then you couldn't never be angry at a player if a he ask for a trade out of Mtl or refuse to be traded to Mtl one day, ore refuse to sign as a UFA. It works both way.

Well, it IS tough to move a player that doesn't want to be traded to team X and uses his NTC...

not a cancer. they just want to re-appropriate his cap dollars. it's not like they're suing him for breach of contract and trying to get his deal voided.

I just mean there's 15 teams he can be traded to and I find it hard to believe a deal can't be reached with one of them.

Well, point taken . As long as you admit it's actually a bit unreasonable.
