It is the same as last year, someone was female doging and moaning that Iginla was not signed, if the player does not want to come here, he is not coming. - LeafMan
Iginla didn't come here because of the bad attitudes of jerk Leafs fans like you.
Morning, my Leafy friends.

I'd make a strong pitch to Ehrhoff; and if he can be had for cheap, I'd take Pouliot for the third line. |

sigh...
Im just curious what it is about Stastny that:
a) makes you feel he is worth moving heaven and earth for
b) what about him makes you feel he is going to turn this Leafs team into contenders.
c) if we never do anything to get good players, how did we get Kessel, JVR, Bernier, Gardiner, Lupul...? - systemtool
He is a 1st line centerman, would be our 1st since Sundin left...yes, Sundin is better.
He would be a ppg player in between JVR and Kessel.
We have some pieces in place, but as it stands right now, we need to fill some holes and improve the team....and to me, there's plenty of options in free agency. Anybody see us being better than 8th place as our team currently stands? |

Those are not bad, Moulson is alright but it will eat up a big chunk of cap space which means they will rely heavily on Marlie players to fill the gaps. |

Riberio was bought out for personality issues.
I don't think he is part of the Shanaplan. |

Tim Gleason disagrees
And how is it 11 years, didn't you say that you're 26...? - lumlums
The Leafs buyout Gleason, but then will turn around and either do nothing or put that money toward a guy that sucks. |

Yeah, I really like Moulson but I don't like the idea of him being here on a Clarkson type deal.
Infact, I don't like Clarkson being here on a Clarkson type deal.
Can we please have someone take care of Clarkson...??? |

He's a good center, and yea on bad teams he would be a 1st line Center.
Problem is, he isn't that true elite #1 center you're going to win Cups with and isn't that what we really need?
Is he really worlds apart from Bozak and Kadri?

Yes, he is better than any centerman we currently have, when having the opportunity to upgrade the roster....I really hope the Leafs atleast make an effort. |

I can't remember. I was making fun of the Sens fan who was spending way too much time defending Pouliot and how good he must really be. |

He doesn't really have particularly good skating.
And skating is pretty much all our forward corps do better than others |
