Exactly this. I feel like I'm taking crazy pulls reading some of this. They want to dump Gorges and we are going to give up some of our best assets for him? Today was about teams shedding salary, there is zero chance we give up Kadri or JVR for Gorges

Not sure they are trying to dump gorges. Seems like they have younger cheaper guys ready to do his job.

Money saved on gorges will probably go to a forward. My guess is they are trying to avoid gambling on the ufa market ... lupul becomes their target.

they are the same age and Stastny has been much better longer..at everything..so even if he sucked...he is still as good as Bozak at his best..which we saw last season...and I would bet is not repeated.

I feel Boyle is this year's Cal Clutterbuck. The brand new sexy 3rd liner we all want to build our 3rd line around. Should get 3-3.5 per I'd say. (unless he goes to a top 8 team)

I hope they stay quiet. Could probably count on one hand the number of successful signings from the 2013 ufa class.

D. Boyle and Iginla are my guesses as to two guys who are likely to live up to their contracts. The rest of the field seems like a big roll of the dice.
