It has more to do with the disfunctionality of the Canadian clubs then it does the fact they are in Canada, I me3an really, would you want to play for them? The only two I would even look at is Montreal, and Calgary simply because they are rebuilding thew right way...

To me it's also the dog and pony show that the media make of our teams too. Everything is over analysed and when the teams aren't succeeding it could be pretty annoying as a player. But then again any player that doesn't want the spot light and doesn't want to win for glory doesn't belong here. I personally think too many guys want to slink away to San Jose or Tampa and never really have to live up to anything but a big paycheque and a laid back lifestyle, you need to have a super star attitude to succeed in Toronto hockey

Its absolutely not. It's the fans and the media and the weather to a certain extent. (frank) all to do with.the way the teams are managed. I mean look at the absolute poop show in here regarding drafting Nylander and trading Carl (frank)ing Gunnarsson for polak. The buyout of gleasob as well.
