They don't actually think he will make the big club.
Nonis said Nylander will get every chance to make the team in training camp, but didn’t get anyone’s hopes up.
“It’s difficult to make the team as an 18-year-old. It would be a long shot for him to do that, but if he’s good enough to stick we keep him. He’s got NHL speed, NHL hands and an NHL shot right now. It’s whether the rest of his game can catch up.” - Atomic Wedgie "
what part of my "if he shows well in camp" did you not get?

I would like to see him in the AHL, but you get a free year of development in the SEL. So let him go back, sign him, 1 year of a AHL after that, and full time NHL after that if he's ready. |

They got good value, but that eats up quite a bit of cap space for the AVS |

Corey Pronman @coreypronman ·
The top highest U18 single season scorers in the SHL-2's history were drafted in the 1st round (Nylander, Pastrnak) http://www.eliteprospects...gueteam=&nation=&sort=u18 …
Pronman is pretty high on Nylander - senstroll
Then Nylander needs to shower more |
