A team like the leafs who could desperately use an upgrade at C like PS should be using anyway they can to get the word out they are interested.. problem is they probably dont see him as an upgrade to Bozak

No, there have been no rumours they've talked to him yet, doesn't mean they still can't tomorrow. And frankly, any idiot should know Statsny is going to get PAID longterm. Are we in a position to do that right now? Do we throw all our eggs in Statsny as our fix?

Yeah not too bad a lineup though. Couple of vets in bottom 6. Tweak the d a tad and I would say itsa better lineup than last year

Reading all the interviews, the Leaf brass really seem to think Nylander might be ready to go this season if he shows well in camp, I think this time they won't pull what they did with Kadri, just a gut feeling.

a good friend of mine was at a party on the weekend and Malcolm Subban was there, Toronto apparently has submitted an offer sheet for PK for around 8M

He'd be crazy not to agree, and you can say it's my Leafs bias if you want. I think he's a contender and won't want to risk going to an Arizona or a Florida or a Buffalo. Nice weather won't do it for a guy like that. Just my hunch.

Reimer to Toronto for Crawford. Chicago fixes there cap problems and Toronto gets another fantastic contract.
