IF the Leafs are looking to flip Franson for Gorges (total speculation on Franson), that could leave door open for Boyle, too. - Fruitcakenipple
Love the insights from Dreger "obviously Nonis, Shanahan and the Leafs scouts had Nylander ranked pretty high." |

I am at a loss to explain the thinking behind ANY of the decisions made by this organization. The last 4-5 days or so is just another chapter in the sad, perplexing, and monumentally frustrating tale of woe otherwise known as the recent history of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Gunnarsson for Polak trade is just another example of what we have come to expect from the decision makers at the top of the organization. It is a safe, low risk, low reward lateral move which is as underwhelming as the organization who made it. The really frustrating part of this swap for me is the inclusion of a 4th round pick. It seems like a totally unnecessary gratuity tilting the deal in St. Louis' favour--but I suppose this is of little consequence to a team that routinely wastes its draft picks anyway. |

I barely use them I find it funnier when people think I'm serious, also very dry sense of humor so emoticons go against my humor preference. |

Pitts, Phi, Det, Bos have better teams than TB.
NYR probably as well.
3 remaining playoffs spots between Mtl, TB, Wsh, Ott, Tor. |
