Hemsky is the lesser of the 3 evils there. But I'd rather have Miller take that spot on the RW and like Pete said for a solid 3rd line center. - tomburton99
Yep this is what I wanted all along. Was always hoping the Kings were gonna buyout Richards. |

I like the LH depth defensmen the Ranges have in the system. It might suck, but the Rangers really seem to like Dan Boyle. They may pay the 5 million to bring him in. - TPC
Honestly, I dislike the idea of Mcilrath making the team. But I'd gladly take that kid at 700k over Dan Boyle at 5 million. I gonna be pissed if Dan Bolye get's 5 million from us. |

If I can get Hemsky cheaper than Pouliot I would be fine with that. - mrhattrick27
I wouldn't mind this either |

I don't know the first thing about Stoner, or whether that's true or not, but that is funny. |

Per Brooks tonight: The Rangers were attempting on Monday to hammer out a deal to keep prospective free agent Dominic Moore off the market and on Broadway. The fourth-line engine was seeking a three-year contract in the neighborhood of $1.7 million per while the Blueshirts were believed to be more interested in a two-year deal for slightly less money per.
Also, no traction with Pouliot. My question to all of you: is three years at $3 mil per way out of the realm for him? |

TJ gets man crushers on guys that are just not good. See Penner, Dustin. Who we could pay less than Dan Carcillo right now to play for us. |

Good link for UFA's, if you are into advanced stats. Loktionov and Ribiero spike my interest. Look at where Dan Boyle ranks. If he gets 5 million from the New York Rangers I'm going to kill something

This is where I came up with Moss, 4th line of him Moore and Malhotra or Goc would be nice to me |

Yes. I think Zucc made that line. If I had to chose one person off that line to be replaced it would be him. I think we could find another fit there to replace him. |

Anywhere between 2.5 and 4 million per. 4 million seems like a lot but he scored and played limited role with Toronto. |

Keep Stralman for $4.3. See if that makes him stay. |

I can't wait for the Rangers to solve it so we can stop discussing 2nd pair D vs. 3rd line center - mrhattrick27

I never realized Stralman had a total of 1 goal all of last season and playoffs |

Why is Zucc the only guy who see's the big picture and is more interested in winning, it's like the never came together and got swept in the 1st round, show dome interest in coming back for Christ sake |

Well that's an opinion. I watched that whole series vs Colorado. He wasnt bad from what I saw.
Why does he suck? Because he's big, perhaps a bit slower? He hits like a tank and he's mean. Imagine that!! Someone mean on defense?? God forbid we had that

You just don't like my opinion on players. They all are based on opinion. I think your crazy sometimes too. But I don't call you out on it
I admit when I'm wrong like with penner and Zucc...and I'm sure that's more them you would ever do |

There have been alot of opinions thrown out the past few days. I've mentioned a few players for discussion sake that are probably stupid options, but it's that time of year where alot of names get thrown out. I love the fact that people have opinions. |

You know I'm arguing with adam herman because he lives in this fantasy world where the Rangers just can sit back and act like they have money in the bank. Sorry if the depth of Kristo, Fast, Haggerty, Miller, Lindberg, Allen, and Mcilrath have me a little concerned. Miller is the only who doesn't look out of place in the NHL. I need a better look at Allen. The rest are huge question marks. |

Fun, but a little nerve racking. Fun stops if it's Dan Boyle. |

Yeah I understand, having to reload with that is not reasonable, they need to take less risk, I can understand plugging 1 or 2 by the end of the season but to replace 3 or 4 to start the season they'll just waste Hank |

I think Fast is going to be solid as well, but I also seem him as the type of guy you can play on the fourth line without retarding his development, because I can't see him as much more than a solid third liner anyway. But, not much top end depth there. |

If you think about it, if the Rangers are willing to go 2 years @ 5 million per for Boyle, I would think they would go the extra 2 years at that same money to keep Stralman.
But what do I know, I am just a Kreider lover |

I think Skjei and Duclair end up passing most of those prospects |
