according to TIOPS, sounds like Penguins plan on making offers to Manny Malhotra, David Moss, and Kulemin.

I would only want Kulemin out of those three.

I don't know why they are taking so long to re-sign Goc, really. Good player to have for your bottom lines.

Malholtra ca barely see with the damage to his one eye - Will never be the player he was

Canucks benched him because they considered him a liability on the ice

Was a great leader and great in the room tho

That's getting overrated by management if they sign him. If he's a liability on the ice who gives a poop about what he brings off it

I like the added options ce and ej bring to fa. a defenseman could only come in if one goes out. martin would have suitors, especially after big d are takin. problem is does that leave us outside looking in for a top 6 and a couple 3-4 'ers? until martins traded

Like Kulemin (3yrs, $3M-ish/yr) and Moss (2yrs, $1.25M/yr) at the right term and price. Not so much Maholtra.

As far as Ehroff goes, actually thought the same thing when I saw he was bought out. If he can be had on a 4/5 yr deal for around $5M/yr, take him and trade Martin for a younger 3rd liner or F prospect. I do it in NHL14 all the time, but then again that's a video game so who knows what will happen in real life.

If the Pens continue in this direction (minus Goc, Stemps, Jussi) and go after tough players, then I'm all for Moss. Him with Spaling makes 2/3rds of a good, bottom six line.

please just say no to Miller.

But I would let Kapanen come in to camp and earn a spot. the odds will certainly be against him, but if he can put a good camp together, he should get consideration.

yeah... but by how much and what if they cant move martin or this means teams know the pens have to get rid of him. his value would go way down. overall this seems like a good option if it works out to improve the team now and for the future

By 10%. Even if his value did go down, his value when he walks for free is still lower.

Paul Martin will garner interest, it would keep his value respectable.

Teams might understand you need to move him but they'll also understand they're not the only ones bidding for his services.

agree with miller... no need to downgrade our goaltending. kasperi would be an absolute shock to play here next year.

They might be, depending on the cap space of whichever teams Pittsburgh is allowed to trade him to after taking his NTC into account.

Then you don't trade him. Of course this is a process you don't go out and sign erhoff without knowing where he will go and what you'll get

I'm more impressed with his mobility on that shift, remember he's 6'1" and 225 lbs.
