I lost zero balls the 2 days, found 17, shot 7 over friday and 8 over yesterday

both rounds walked in 2 hrs 5 minutes

Even if we sign guys to get to the cap floor, they will just be overpaid UFA role-players. Moulson may be an exception to this, because he has been here. Hoff's contract was a bargain now, so a similar caphit from a UFA will likely bring less to the table.

Not long after the contact period started (prior to July 1), TM prob started to realize that nobody good wants to come to Buffalo.

So we buyout the Hoff, (who was hand picked by Pegula, or his daughter, or whomever..), just to soak the cap to get to the floor?

I think we are almost guaranteed Eichel at this point. This is may be the greatest tanking scheme in the history of the nhl.

I got a ton of crap when I said that besides Leino the other buyout candidate was the Hoff.

My guess is Murray couldn't get anything close to a good enough offer in his eyes to risk dealing with that recapture penalty. It really is a female dog.

He has a plan and a vision for this team, I am okay with this.

It's pretty obvious that Murray wants players who want to be here and it wasn't very hard to see that Ehrhoff wanted nothing to do with this team after December 1st.
