That those reports would hopefully help keep him on the table. He said he spoke with contacts in Sweden who played with the kid and those contacts told him those reports were unfounded and pretty far from the truth.

4 other teams didn't like his attitude. Typical euro player. If he was a Canadian kid, he'd grow up dreaming of this and take whatever he was given simply because he's grateful for the opportunity.

This is what I don't get. The people who dislike #3 (me) acknowledge the fact that this guy would fair far better with a meathead that can play the D part of the game better than pairing him with another O minded guy. I've read 2 different views on Polak, one from Simmons who says he can't skate. And one from Shanny/Nonis about his ability to skate. And he's a right handed shot.


The 2 meatheads are on the 3rd pairing and it just seems like it should be spread out a bit.


Then again, I know sweet (frank) all about it.
