It's official. Stan is a kluster phuck and this team is not going the right direction at the moment. Another smurf'ish W. Just awesome.

Maybe the will turn around and trade Schmaltz for Jayden Schwartz
- RickJ

Schmaltz for Schwartz?

My grandmother would have loved it.

If they were gonna go small Hawks should have picked Fabrrri I just dont get it
- mvp0207

Fabrri and Schmaltz are fairly comparable. Maybe the move was just to keep the Blues from getting Schmaltz.

The plan is to Dr. Frankenstein two small players to make an adequately sized one. It's genius.

Nothing to do with the pick though. They can still move someone or sometwo
- mvp0207

True. Looks like this was more of a pick to annoy St. Louis

Who he probably didn't need to trade up to get. Even if we lost him, probably not a big deal.

Yeah that's what I don't get. I bet he would have been there at 27
- tomcat24

STL picked next. Judging by their reactions, he wouldn't have lasted another pick.

Then it's stupid. If you REALLY think this guy is worth it, fine, but you don't make a pick to prevent another team from gettng it...you make a pick to better your team.

Craptastic.

I have maybe a minute but this is a home run or strike out. He drives me crazy....he can dazzle the shoot out of you and make super skilled plays in a nonchalant way like it ain't no thing. He comes to play and then other time just disappears. BUT NO ONE can say there isn't a huge good hands centre in this package...The Hawks just wanted to thrump the Blues taking him...but I love Robbi Fabbri much more....I was convinced they were going Sammi's son.

This of course is longer term project who is not the sum of his parts. Displays good feet, vision, hands of the high end level, but his work ethic is on the low end. Needs to be become an all around team first player who helps his team get chances, and not wait for the team around him to provide him with scoring chances. Takes many a shift off, and can disappear in a tight checking game. The question remains will the team that drafts him see the dazzling skill and motor for 60 minutes? Was named to the U.S. World Junior A roster for the Junior A Challenge. Committed to North Dakota University.

I'm thrilled that Stan has the balls to go and spite another team to draft a guy who's not likely to do much in the league anyway.

Wish he felt this much urgency to get a 2C.

Yes but good from the three-point line, can guard twos or fours.

Why should there be any urgency to improve the roster on June 27?

Any guesses on how many years he plays for the Fighting Sioux? Put me down for 4.
