Could be, could also be that ANA just had better assets to offer. Not surprised if this comes to fruition with Kesler being traded to ANA

I wouldn't be surprised if someone signs Statsny to $8 mil per. He would cause a cap armageddon here in a year, even at $6.6 mil he made last year. If we do get the #1 pick just take the best center. There are 3-4 that are supposed to be excellent. Although that might not help this year. Or they could deal that pick to Ottawa for Spezza and pick/player.
