Nice. Get you set up for the Vegas heat.

BTW....rather move from house than apartment, where you either have to pile everything into an elevator, or have the joy of navigating stairs.

- stormeyweather

the house they moved out of was actually the upper level of a duplex. so we had the stairs and everything. thankfully we had quite a few guys. and it saved the guy like $1400. although he did scrape someone's front bumber with the u-haul so that could eat into the savings.

Wouldn't you take a chance on a big player in the 5th round instead of a 5'9 guy?
- Pecafan Fan

Aren't all their picks except Audette over 6 feet? In the 5th round i don't think it's a bad idea to go with a small talented forward. Gallagher turned out fine. Wish they went for Vanier insteand of Lernout or w/ever his name is.

I don't know why Leaf fans are so upset. Clearly the Leaf braintrust is working on implementing a foolproof master plan that will result in a dynasty not seen since the 1980's Oilers. They've laid all the necessary groundwork with their brilliant, original, and daring work at the draft this weekend. They started by adding another soft, undersized, defense-phobic, floater to their already impressive collection. Having sacrificed their own second round pick for another vital piece of the puzzle, MVPeter Holland, they used that time to plot the rest of their brilliant draft strategy. And they didnt disappoint-a Russian guy who was passed over in his first year of eligibility, 3 unknown Americans toiling in the USHL, and a bigger, slower version of their 1st pick. See you at the parade.

apparently he's super talented. but there's a reason he went 26th overall.
but i like the thought behind the pick. the team has such little high end skill at forward coming through the organization, so i prefer a pick like this as opposed to another Jarred Tinordi. or Kyle Chipchura.
