The buyout makes no sense.

The most puzzling part was trading purcell (4.5M) for Gagne (4.8M) only to buy out gagne. Why not buy out purcell if it's just cap clearing???

speaking of pain, helped my brother in law move yesterday. and this was no apartment move. this was house to house. 2 trips with a 20-foot trucks, 50 km trips each way. 9 hours. it was 30 degrees yesterday. 37 with the humidex.

apparently he's super talented. but there's a reason he went 26th overall.
but i like the thought behind the pick. the team has such little high end skill at forward coming through the organization, so i prefer a pick like this as opposed to another Jarred Tinordi. or Kyle Chipchura.
