I know they had interest for Kapanen...once he was gone, the last name they had on their list was Scherbak, that's why Bergevin was running around so much, he had a deal in place to get a second round pick instead. Once they saw he was still available when it was their turn, they decided to go ahead with the selection.

Yeah, me too. It's an homerun swing, but at 26th they felt comfortable with it. I looked at the Saskatoon Blades' roster last season...he really didn't had much of a supporting cast there...
