It's unbelievable.
That being said, it's what you get when you give NTCs to just about everyone.
Look at Gorges who apparently nixed a trade to Toronto. |

WC? you need several days between games. it's a lot closer to NFL than NHL/NBA. these guys who run around for 90 minutes non stop need a few days recovery. |

yeah it does look the most tiring of all the sports, i dont argue that.
4 days should be sufficient though. |

Gorges didn't ask for a trade. i don't blame him for nixing a deal to Toronto. same salary, same type of intense market, pooptier team.
but for a guy who demands a trade to do it? that's a complete (frank)ing wussy.

Ducks land Nate Thompson from the Lightning in exchange for fourth-round and seventh-round picks.

Same as Kesler, or Luongo for that matter. I want out but i'll only waive to go to team A or B. Utter bullpoop IMO. As soon as you demand a trade it should nullify any type of NTC. |

Looks like they want to give their Young forwards a chance and go after an ufa dman (Niskanen). They didn't touch their core and they resigned Callahan. |

The most puzzling part was trading purcell (4.5M) for Gagne (4.8M) only to buy out gagne. Why not buy out purcell if it's just cap clearing??? |

They didn't veto because their GM was smart enough to not accept a deal from a team on the no-trade list. |

Crombeen and Purcell were in the dog house last yeAR. The only surprise is Thompson. I would take Drouin Callahan and Conolly over Crombeen Thompson and Purcell any day of the week personnally. |

I'm not sure, but apparently both had deals arranged to teams where they wouldn't waive. In Spezza's case, Murray just went out of his way to make him look like an bumhole by letting the media know. |
