What I think is that you can't trade dead wood for decent players unless you are dealing with Garth Snow or Gillis.

Kesler is a second line centre who hasn't had a great season since the Cup run. he demanded a trade with a NMC. that's not a bad return, all things considered. Bonino is a decent second line guy.
