I would love to have Stasny... .but we would still end up with the same issue of not having room for Chucky at the center position.

He was very solid in the playoffs for them again. I don't think they really care how he does in the regular season as long as he continues to step up when the checking get tighter and there is more on the line.

Suggesting Bolland (when healthy) is not one of the better third line centers in the league is wrong.

If he's good enough to play in that role in Chicago then he's good enough to play that role in 90% of the teams in the league.

- stormeyweather

Bolland is one of the best 3rd line centres in the legue(when healthy) but since when do 3rd line centres get signed for 7 years @ 5M?

Gotta keep DD for now.
But I could see this...

I don't know if Zach Bogosian is really being shopped ( per EK) but if so.. he'd be a nice fit for our blue line.

It's awesome to get all these new and talented players.

Say tell me - are we giving up anyone?

Well he was Hitchcock's assistant coach in Columbus and took over for him as head coach when he was fired.

Then took the Manitoba Moose to the AHL finals the year before the Jets came back.

He was highly tought of, despite you never hearing about him. I know...hard to believe.

He didn't work out....but neither has Dallas Eakins.

Not sure if you've heard of Eakins before....but he was also highly thought of.

HIRE KEENAN! BRING BACK RON WILSON!!!

Hindsight my friend.

- stormeyweather

It's not personal stormwad. I also expressly stated that I don't know much about that stuff. Eakins, like benning, desjardins, Jim Nill, Boucher (also a bust) were in the news constantly with what seemed like bidding wars for their services. I had never heard any of that for Noel so I appreciate you informing me of his pedigree. I shall add it to my personal Steegle
