Bergevin just referred to Galchenyuk as a Russian. Like I've been saying all along.

Everyone has an opinion. To me he looks weak and whiney and very unimpressive.

Flavor of the week, I wouldn't trade up for him but if he is there at 31 I think you consider it

Maybe Murray doesn't think it's worth trading back into the first in what has always been labeled a weak draft? He probably knows how to do his job better than us armchair gm's.

Or has a plan and isn't going to panic in year one of his tenure in the middle of a rebuild

[quote=Stripes77]OMG OMG TM didn't get Kesler or Neal he sucks as a gm!!!

ugh.

There comes a time when a GM knows where his team is at and knows what needs to be done to make them better in the long term. TM is doing just that. Time will tell.

I brought it up a while back but this was exactly what i wanted from him. Draft Reinhart /Ekblad.

Don't do anything to jeopardize the picks next year

Don't trade for the sake of trading

check, check and check.

He is so skilled, top 10 talent. Ho-Sang is worth taking a flyer on in the second round.

That's who I want. And nobody knows who TM wanted in the 20s. Maybe he is still available. Why give up assests if doing your research you believe your guy will fall to 31

He is so one dimensional, top 10 talent. Ho-Sang is worth taking a flyer on in the second round.

The Islanders moved back into the 1st.

The Sabres have failed as a franchise.

agreed but there is a reason 25 teams have passed on him...if he falls to 31 I would be okay with it

I had said it about a month ago. People who were banking on the Sabres getting back into the first round were going to be disappointed.

I think his upside justifies selecting him in the second round.

"We should trade back into the mid 1st for Josh Ho-Sang"

Matthew Coller is so clueless it's not even funny
