Very much so ..

just little pissed of we're going to pick Ekblad

nothing every goes our way .

- GERBE!!!75PTS

I don't agree. I don't think they take Ekblad. I also don't think Florida trades the 1st pick unless the trade is of epic proportions.

Not really. In fact it could help the Sabres.

Next year from what was being reported if you finish last the highest you pick is 2. The major change is just changing the percentages and if the Islanders finish say in the 8 spot their odds would be better than what the 8 spot was this year. So really it COULD be a blessing in disguise.

So the last place team has no chance at the first pick? That's crazy.

if murray got spezza and kessler and gave up hoff, foligno, staff, a few picks and prospects (not our first or islanders first) what would your thoughts be moving forward?
- homiedclown

Confusion...but it would mean he has a plan. What that plan is I wouldn't be so sure but thankfully I really don't think we have to worry about it.

I would think Florida could use Ekblad, as a future replacement for Campbell.

Nope me either, if I have to drink a mainstream beer ill go bud heavy or labatt. Usually won't though. Sierra Nevada, Dogfish, and Anchor Brewing make some fantastic stuff.

For the 4th, I recommend picking up a sixer of Anchor Liberty Ale. Tastes like freedom.

- IceColdBeer

the drafts I had at larkin square when I was in NY was tasty

perhaps cabin can comment on what the two types were, I think they were local

I have a case of torpedo for next weekend, and the seasonal sam adams for this weekend

I am ready

No they will still have the highest percentage to get the 1st pick but it wouldn't be 25%. Also it means they would only drop down to 2 next year like the Sabres did this year.

The 2016 draft is where there is talk of having a lottery for the top 3 or 5 picks.

The 2015 lottery will be similar to this years lottery just the percentages will change a bit.

Barnaby was on home ice yesterday and thought that the panthers would move the pick, due to financial losses

I wonder if that is ek's source

Maybe. Campbell is a unique player. As for new draft rules wish nhl would post stuff instead of vague

Which in the long term is good. It will stop gms from saying the word suffering.
And put an expansion roster on the ice

I am fine with Draisaitl at 2 if Reinhart goes 1

but if the sabres really want Reinhart then go get that pick from Florida

Well, I don't know how reliable Barnaby is. Besides, what does trading a draft pick have to do with financial losses? Seems to me it wouldn't make sense to trade away a pick that's going to cost the team $925,000 in salary next year for a guy or guys that will for sure be making more than that.

Hopefully one was Southern Tier, and the other was Community Beer Works. Two best local breweries, IMO.

(Not saying I don't like Flying Bison)

Barnaby is also the one that tried driving a SUV on 3 tires, so I am sure his financial planning skills aren't the best

Ah, that's what I started to suspect. One slight quibble on this is while I can see the similarity, Rusty Chain is a Marzen Lagered Fest Bier, whereas Killians is a terrible Irish Red Ale style.
