That's kind of worrisome. There's no logical reason that he'd fall that far, unless he has a serious chance of going to the KHL. He works extremely hard, forechecks, plays well defensively... He's not even close to the stereotypical Russian, but he got passed over for one in Goldobin.

Yea I figured he go around 20, I know at one point he was a projected top 10 pick. If they could somehow bundle 47, 61 and St. Louis' 3rd to move up to 32, so we could land both of them. I'd be overjoyed.

I really don't see how he hurt his top 10 expectations, either. He had a quite good offensive year, while being a 2-way D man, on a mediocre team. I'd love for us to move up and snag him.

I dont think Lemieux does, Demko has a shot. I am not sure I would want to take two kids of former players in the same year. They usually don't have the best track record.

Agreed. If we end up with 2 of Barbashev, McKeown, and Demko, it'll be another fantastic 2nd round for us IMO.

MacInnis is more of a 3rd line grinder. 37pts in 66gp doesn't scream 2rd pick.

I think they try to ice the best team and obtain the best assets right now.

Grab the players with first rd grades for the second rd.

Any player can be had in a trade but your going to pay a hefty price for a few.

I always thought if we get a top 3 pick in 2015 it will come from long island.
