Nonsense. When you are there you only get ten minutes of actual game play. The rest of the time you are freezing your ass off with a bunch of drunks you cant stand. It is way more entertaining on TV. Not even close. - MBFlyerfan
Isn't 95% of the fun being one of those stupid drunks? The other 5% is tailgating |

$2m of his $6m salary for 14-15 is due to be paid in a signing bonus. And now we know it's due to be paid on July, 1st.
As of July 2nd, Vinny will only be owed $14.5 million over four seasons, or $3.625m in salary per season. - Feanor
Yeah, his tradeability begins to peak July 2, 2015. Only $8.5M owed to him over 3-years then. |

nor do you have to wait in line to use a filthy bathroom where you hope the guy next to you doesn't pee or spew on your shoes!

I can eat twice as much, and drink 10 times as much for about 1/10th of the cost sitting in my living room watching Red Zone on one TV and the National game on another TV. Not stand in line to piss, wearing shorts and a tee shirt while its 20 degrees outside.
I feel like my way is better, but that is just me I guess.

Not to mention missing 15 minutes of the game any time you need to use the bathroom or want to get something to eat.
Last game I was at, I almost got into a fight with an entire section. They left with like 10 minutes to go in the Chiefs game, and I started screaming that they were fair weather fans and that they should give me their tickets so I can sell them to people who would actually stay for the entire game. I ended up calling one dude a pirate. |

So maybe a team that misses out on Spezza, Thorton, Kessler or another one of the centers might see Vinny as an option then. |

Football is only tailor made for TV because they can cram like 86 commercials between each stoppage... not because it's any more entertaining on TV than in person. If you're at home, you basically spend 3/4 of the actual game broadcast listening to some analyst huffing over three angles of each replay... maybe 10 minutes is actual gameplay. The rest is commercial after commercial after commercial.
- Tomahawk
the replay after replay after replay is very important, the game must suit attention spans of all shapes and sizes |

Prediction: Sens and Nucks are asking way too much for Spezza and Kesler. Someone will swoop in and take Vinny for less while those two teams remain at standstills. |

I wouldn't have done it at The Vet, but all these new fans (of all teams), and society in general, is so much posturing and no action. |

That is what I am kind of hoping happens. Maybe teams need to make a move and instead of moving all the assets for them too take to Vinny. |

I'm really hoping Gostisbehere bucks the trend of these top college defensemen who turn out to be relative duds. |

Yeah. But wasn't gilroy undrafted free agent? I know he had good college career but must have been something to keep teams from at first drafting him. |

I have an sneaking suspision that Vinny will end up in Dallas. They were interested last year. Made the playoffs and are hoping to improve on that. Need a 2nd line center behind Benn. I don't think they want to give assets for Kesler and Spezza and not sure those guys want to go there. Wo't have to give up much for Vinny. Just think it might work. |
