Read isn't making top money. And with Hartnell being moved, Read might see more PP time. And it's not as if he's not capable of playing on the PP.

That run to the finals means he might be bulletproof until he decides to retire, and now players know that he will absolutely trade you if you try to stare him down.

He's not much different then any other GM. He has Hagelin and Stepan on bridge contracts. And they have a bunch of players to sign.
