I agree with Bill. Moving out Grossmann for a player like MDZ is not the right move.
- MJL

Who says we have too? We ship Vinny out, sign Zotto to be the 7th Dman. People already claim he's a 6/7 guy.

Playing at the top of their game... I agree. However, looking at a long 82 game season. Timmo is older. Grossmann health is troublesome, I don't think he'll play 82 games (I hope I'm wrong). Schenn is the only physical guy. I like the puck-handling of the group, but this group isn't the greatest defensive-dman group. I'd like to see Schenn bloom a bit more into a better defense player (I don't care if he scores a goal). And, I'd like to see some one else on the blue line that would scare opposing forwards. Would the top opposing star be afraid of this group, Would the top opposing star have an easy time scoring?

Grossman missed 4 games last season before he was knocked awkwardly into the boards in the playoffs....

It's unfortunate that the elbow missed.
- tangent_man

this doesn't even take into account Suarez's writhing around in pain gripping his teeth afterwards. This is the third time he's bitten someone (that we know of).

FWIW, I hate the nickname "Timmo."

I have honestly never seen him called that before today, and hope to never see it happen again.

Good point.

I know people have killed me but that is why I would even be ok if it was a deal with Florida for Fleishaman. I think he could play a wing on the 1st or second line. The money is the same and he would be on the last year. I don't think Hextall is planning to fix it all in 1 year so those are the type of deals that might not lok great but could be considered wins in the long run

A Uruguay player just appeared to bite an Italian guy at the World Cup.

wtf?

- Marc D

It would be his third biting incident. Sadly, he is one of the most electrifying strikers in football. But his little brain. Oy.

They aren't chasing Richards. But they are looking for certain qualities I believe. Players good in their own end. Smart, attention to detail. People always say Richards as a reference. Even laughton they say is kind of like richards except I think he is a little more Dustin Brown as he is a better skater then richards.

Chiellini elbowed him in the mouth after the bite or head butt. I'm not saying he didn't bite him. But considering the rolling/writing/diving Chiellini did all day, I'm not going to assume he did more than head butt (which would also be wrong).

there are pictures all over twitter of the teeth marks Bo.

edit: and he didn't make contact with the elbow. this is indefensible conduct.

Well maybe he's used to eating human where he's from. Most of these countries are borderline 3rd world.
