Adrian Kempe maybe? He kind of reminds me of Kreider with the rangers.

Most of our prospects are at the blue line. I hope the habs draft forwards mostly this year. Cuz Hamilton is empty.
- ShafterBenRaide

The Habs drafted one D the past two drafts. Lots of forwards will join Hamilton next year: Bozon, Hudon, DLR, Carr, Nevins, Crisp.

In 2015, Grégoire will turn pro for sure and Reway/Lehkonen might join Hamilton.

Meanwhile on D, Dalton Thrower was our latest acquisition.

D is certainly a strong point of our prospect pool, but most of these are 3-4 years older than the players that will be drafted this weekend. If you consider that most of these younger players will turn pro in a couple years, by then there will not be many of Ellis, Pateryn, Dietz, Thrower, Bennett, Tinordi and Beaulieu that will be remaining in the farm club, either they'll be in the NHL or they'll have be moved somewhere else for a change of scenery.

Is Bozon healthy enough to play this year in Hamilton? How is his recovery going?

Good work ethic, finishes his checks, big body, good skater and played against pros, but questions around his offensive potential. He was seen shooting in the goalies crest a lot...

I understand your point here, but many of the D prospects are looking like they might be the real deal. Add that to an already relatively young core of Subban and Emelin, not sure drafting many D is necessary. Unless you seriously believe that our forward prospects really looks as deep as our D... I don't.

He probably won't start the year in Hamilton, but I could see him join Wheeling in the ECHL for a short stint to get the rust off. I think he's doing pretty good actually, he regained most of the weight he had lost and he said he's trying his hardest to make the Habs camp in September. He also said he'd like to make the rookie camp after the draft, but that might be too soon for him.

I really hope McCarron pans out. And hopefully he plays in the AHL this year, cuz he was wasting his time playing on the 4th line in the OHL.

Plays like it yeah, you need those type of players to win. Personally I'd rather see us go for less safe prospects with more upside. I think I'd prefer it if we traded down than draft a guy like Schmaltz, Kempe or Dougherty.

Vladislav Kamenev would be my target in the 2nd round. Big guy, plays both ways, excellent puck protection, very creative, good hands and shot. Probably a 1st round prospect if not for the Russian factor.

He seems small. Listed at 165lbs no?
- ShafterBenRaide

Here if you want the combine heights and weights, Scherbak weighs 175 lbs.

He'll have a lot of ice in London this year. Might even get to play with Domi if the smallster doesn't turn pro.

Three years at 2.83 for Hainsey in Carolina.

Yeah, it was a good idea to sign Markov.

Yes, but it would be surprising to see both Sanheim and Scherbak fall

I saw this trade rumor on different sites a couple of times this past few weeks. It was Plek + Gorges vs Yakupov +.

We don't get any bigger but Yakupov could be a good fit with Galchenyuk.
