Did you read Sportsnet's top 30 Draft picks article and the quote from an NHL scout that said Bennett gets separation from Reinhart on two fronts. Reinhart gets marked down on his skating which might or might not improve with work and training and also Bennett makes players around him better and Reinhart doesn't do that to the level Bennett does and that is not going change at the next level. Hey, maybe he'll be a great player but just like all the people on here who think Bennett is going to flop I have that feeling about Reinhart and we'll see what happens. When you are chosen at #2 you should be a strong skater or be a John Tavares which Reinhart isn't.

That was a surprise but I don't know enough about the guy. Perhaps he's trending up the week of the draft like some NFL players do the week of their draft. This will be an exciting draft that's for sure, not very predictable.

I worked 6:30-11 and the only one worth while was German and we don't speak the same language. Oh and she had another German female with her and she refused to drink so the hot one wouldn't have one either or I'd of used free drinks to narrow the language gap.

I just went through 8 different articles with a scouting report on Reinhart & not ONE brought up skating at all

I honestly feel you would like Bennett more if the media didn't jump on the Reinhart train so early and tell you to like him much like they did a very dysfunctional president whom I'm sure you supported as well because the media told you to do that too. Anyway, back to Reinhart. I like strong skaters, I like agressive players who have a strong shot and who don't ALWAYS look to pass before they shoot. I like players who you notice on the ice, I saw enough games where I wondered where the Hell is Vanek? Sorry, no I've seen Reinhart and he's not my cup of tea at #2. I didn't root for the Sabres to tank last year, lose early and often to draft....Reinhart.

Well, I recently turned 18 and I'm Canadian so I don't exactly support him all that much, but back to Reinhart. When you say he can't skate, he can't score, and has no heart, I feel like you're talking about an entirely different player. Seriously you're confused about Reinhart. In fact, sometimes you take all of Reinhart's best features and give them to Bennett to make him seem more appealing, so I believe that if you weren't hating on Reinhart for the sake of hating on him, you would want him more than Bennett.

The scout who critiqued Reinhart and Bennett was not who did Sportsnet's Top 30. He may have been a voice of many.

That is one guys opinion. The top thirty was a collective voice that utilized the opinions of NHL scouts and personnel professionals to develop the list not just one guys opinion.

His skating is his major flaw as per most scouts and did you read this blog it's right in front of your nose as well. It's probably why CSS had him rated #4, scouts and personnel directors who helped Sportsnet put together their top 30 rated Reinhart #5 most likely because of his skating.

No one in here has been hating on Bennett . You have been hating on Reinhart as if he stole your girlfriend and kicked your dog . Everything you are saying about Reinhart and attributing to all sorts of experts is nowhere to be found . Why do an overwhelming amounts of so called draft gurus have Reinhart at # 2 . Are they all idiots and you know more and you have gone out and actually watched him extensively ? They used to say Gretzky was a weak skater to but had an amazing hockey IQ , they said it about Tavares . I am not in any way saying Reinhart is Gretzky . I remember you saying if we drafted him we would have 3 of our top 6 forwards slower than the 2nd coming of Christ. You have also said that Reinhart can't score and always passes first. Passing/playmaking? I'll take Reinhart. Hockey IQ? Reinhart. Ability to make those around him better? Reinhart. Shot? It's closer than you think, maybe better.
