31 and 39 would do.

Washington has zero center depth for the 2nd line if they move Johansson.

Laich is an overpaid 3rd liner with a NTC and Ward is a 3rd liner.

- dadeadhead

Even if that were true, they shouldn't need to add two high 2nd rounders (which could turn into a 1st on their own) just to move Ehrhoff.

centre depth can be addressed through FA. finding a good defensemen at a 4 mil cap hit will not be so easy for them.

Tuch benefitted from playing with Eichel and Milano.

I like Tuch but I can think of a few in the 10-15 range id rather have

- sbroads24

Perlini would be my pick followed by Fabbri(wonderful in the playoffs) and Fleury

Which is why I feel come 27-29 he will start to breakdown, become less effective do to injuries, and said injuries keeping him out of the lineup.

He's 17 yrs old, the guy is going to fill out. I have never seen Reinhart compared to Kopitar by the way, that is usually Leon's ally.

Hoff for Pulkkinen and Sheahan.

Add picks as needed.

Sheehan's off ice issues worry me...
But something like that works for me

Hardly. Lopsided is the Wings giving up two of their best prospects for Ehrhoff

Ehrhoff Gives them stability on the back end, Johansson is a 3rd line player on a good team.

And the cap dump is a cap dump

- Sabresfan-365

If Johansson isn't that good...
Why do u want him?

Just don't see the value for Washington.

#13 and Johansson are worth more than Hoff. It's a bad trade for Washington IMO. Their new GM needs to make a major splash. Moving that for Hoff is making a splash but for the wrong reasons. McPhee would've made that move and part of the reason he's gone.

Speed, fills a roster spot, still young.

Adding Johansson means we don't have to add some overpriced 32 year old in FA.

I am totally perplexed by all these people saying we already have a guy in Girgensons who will go through a wall. Girgs and Bennett are not even remotely the same player. They both might not be pussies like Reinhart but Bennett is a skilled player and Girgs is rugged 3rd line center with some skills down the line.

U think finding a good center is easy
IF u can get one as a UFA, u are way overpaying him...
Richards, Leino, Connolly...
Tougher than u think IMO

Ekblad and Reinhart are the only sure bets in the top 5.

Bennett and Draisaitl have the biggest boom or who were they again?

This organization needs the sure bet at the present time. A miscue here and they're fvcked.

All just an IMO.

The big knock on him is the reverse of Ekblad.

Scouts seem to think Ekblad has peaked and wonder if he'll just level off.

Bennett has room to grow but the question is does he really have what it takes to reach that potential or will he fall well short?

My hesitation with him has always been that at 2nd overall this early in rebuild I'd like more of a sure thing than what's being described here. However knowing that Murray plans on being patient and not trying the whole 1 year rebuild makes me more at ease.

My #1 choice has been Ekblad for a while now but really I think I'd be okay with any of the three (reinhart, bennett, ekblad)

Between this year and 2015, they need to find 3 1st liners either draft or trade or hope Armia or Grigo pan out

Trading an asset for a 3rd liner (as u describe Johansson) is a bad idea
Find another way to fill the roster spot
And get something back for ehrhoff that'll actually be part of the future here

I totally disagree with regard to Reinhart. It's like settling to marry someone you don't have that lovin' feeling for just for the sake of not being alone. That seems like something Darcy would do. I think he is a disappointment waiting to happen if the Sabres take him. The Sabres already have Hodgson and Grigorenko who can't skate, now draft Reinhart and three of their top 6 forwards will be slower than the 2nd coming of Christ.

Three options for filling that spot

Throw a kid who doesn't deserve to be there to the wolves and watch him suffer.

Sign Callahan to a 7 year deal

Pick up a roster player via trade

The latter seems much better for us. And Johansson could definitely be part of the future. This team needs speed badly and having him on the third line a few years from now would be pretty good.

You'd also hope that the 13th pick plays a big part of the future team.
