eberle gives you a fringe all star up front and then they can draft Draisaitl with the center at the draft

Why? Ennis has been far more effective in the middle than at the wing. In fact, it really hasn't been close. If he doesn't fit in your plans for the middle, you need to trade him.

Lately I've been drinking to try to make soccer an excuse for watchable. I'm quickly learning that there probably isn't enough alcohol in the world.

Hodson and a second. Just don't see how he fits in the future. We are going to draft our #1 center. Don't mind ennis at 2. Don't love Hodson on the wing. Draft the Dras. at #2.
- hafgod

Any trade with Garf is automatically approved by me. Ennis and Coho are too similar a player we can't have four second line centers. I think Zemgus is going to fill that role for years anyway. And some argue neither Sam is a top line center in the NHL so u can put one of them (or Draisatl) in that mix as well. I think Coho and ennis are expendable. Love the trade. I'd even throw another second or lower level D prospect in there to set the hook in Garfs upper lip

How are ennis and coho alike? Not at all... I mean both undersized centers but thats about it. Ennis is quick and shifty. Coho is slow and not very quick. He has good hockey IQ and playmaking ability.

Honestly I don't see how we don't end up being a powerhouse team in 4-5 years. Unless we really miss on this draft and next years which is hard to do with a top pick

One can play in all three zones, the other can't.

One has speed, the other can't get out of 2nd gear.

One has been playing a more gritty game, the other hasn't.

IMO they are two completely different players. Hodgson IMO should be moved as the team speed is awful and he's part of that problem.

I still say Hodgson, St Louis's 1st, plus is going to the Peg for E Kane.

IMO you can get away with having both of them in the top six for a few years.

Let Hodgson inflate his stats playing top line minutes. IMO he's a 25-30 goal scorer with some talent around him. Ennis IMO would be fine to have when we are good, he's tenacious and has talent, seems to be a guy that will do well in the postseason
