After a brief and unproductive stint with the Flyers, Eminger was traded along with Steve Downie to Tampa Bay in exchange for defenseman Matt Carle.

But, they did get a good d-man out of it eventually, though I think I would probably rather have Carlson lol.

I like his fit with Couturier and Read ala what Downie was supposed to do but not at the Price I think he might get. I would rather see what Leo Komarov cost as he is younger and faster and kind of provides the same skill set.

XM radio guys were talking about a rumor of Brad Marchand for Patrick Marleau.
This one seems almost weird enough to get done.


Also I saw Winnick's name come up. 29 yo UFA LW with size and grit.
Made 1.8M on his last deal and would likely get a raise.
For that money he would have to be a 3rd line guy if he comes to Philly I would think.
I like him, would be a decent fit in the spot Downie had with Read and Couts last year.

I think you have to have that game at Beaver stadium to maximize it. They would set and attendance record and with both teams hating each other they could market the sh%t out it.
