I think the offseason is far more complicated then some believe it to be. Many are thinking about splitting Matt Read and Sean Couturier (Who I think are great together) in a top 6 role and a more offensive role. Okay, what do you fill the bottom six with? Steve Ott is a bottom six play but you don't want him. He's coming off a subpar season. You want Daneil Winnik, also down year but cheaper. You want half the Rangers roster but why Wouldn't the Rangers seriously sign their cheap role players because they were a pretty big reason why they made it to the final?
We talk like we know it all but what do we know? We're playing GM the same way kids play house.
I think the Flyers should sign Matt Niskanen because I like him. I won't give you an idea of what the cap hit or length of the term should be, so I will not state if this is actually feasible or not. - jmatchett383
