haha i have no idea who/what/why your daily disagreement with someone is today, so more power to you my man.
unfortunately i cannot play devils advocate for or against either side - stayinthefnnet
From my point of view, not a big deal at all considering I'm not Managing the Philadelphia Flyers.
A Rumour had surfaced that the Flyers would be interested in Steve Ott. I like Steve Ott, simple...or you'd think. Now from the start many aren't in favour of Ott, which is fine but many try to convince you to side with them in the process. We can't just disagree, that have to convince you to join them on the darek side.
Since yesterday I've refused to say what kind of money I'd offer up for him but SportsPhillyfan pushes and pushes to argue and disagree as always. So I offered up a number
I said I would give Steve Ott 2.25 million for 4 to 5 years. Now, I'm not the Flyers GM. I'm gonna be wrong no matter what. Even if I offered him 5 million for 5 years, guess what? I'm wrong but it doesn't matter because it's not my job to sign players to contracts.
After putting my offer out there, everyone loses their mind as if I'm Ron Hextall, as if what I say matters and the deal is done.
My mind is blown. Really, it is. Can people just talk anymore? |

I don't even know dude..
People ask me what I got... I just say I have no idea but it was enough to get me into college after try number one.
Then the next one: "Did you take it again?"
My response: "Why the (frank) would I do that?" |

haha, exactly. I think I got a 1200-something or other. If it's good enough for the college of my choice, good enough for me. |

ill say this. the purpose of this site seems to be just bantering back and forth about hockey related things. if people disagree, they try to convince the other. that is the fun of it. honestly, it would make for a pretty dull page if it was just "okay i like ott for x price", met by "oh, okay. well i dont". and then crickets.
the disagreeing is over half the fun. and there are some extremely off the wall things floated around by everyone, and for the overwhelming majority, everyone is nice about it. its not like people are namecalling, or making cruel comments. its all in fun and procrastination!
although now i get the joke of why the pens should sign ott for 5 years. |

There's not one team that would have a 2.25 mil center on the 4th line

The point of this site is to promote rumors, and then to get banned for not naming sources, unless you're employed by the site, in which case you are above the law. |

Now.. the actual version.
People disagreed, cows ate grass, some delco cat decided that a mail ordered bride was the way to go, and Brad Richards was bought out. |
