Why does Wsh do this they want a big minute eating D to play with Green
Orlov looks like he will be a solid 4 for years.

Why does STL do this they would have to miss out on say a Spezza or feel they want Youth back and skill. Kadri gives skill with a unknown upside in the NHL for a good 2way third line center plus a high rw prospect that may be able to make the lead as soon as next year.

Leafs then would flip Holzer, Gardiner and Biggs to Edmonton for Matt Hendricks and the Oilers 1st round pick (3rd overall) and choose Sam Bennett (apparently Doug Gilmour is raving about this kid to the Buds)

Leafs would then trade their 1st round pick (8th overall) and Cody Franson to Vancouver for Alex Edler and a 2nd round pick

The Defence would be:
