sigh

they should look at this as a gift from god and take him at 3

- Crimsoninja

if they take Embiid at 3 they need to shelve him like Noel. The bone he fractured is the slowest healing bone in the body. Tough break, literally.

I'd go with Exum and deal MCW to see if I could get back up and steal Embiid in the 5/6 range. In Hinkie we trust.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Embiid break his foot at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

How mad would you be if this happened the day after the Sixers drafted him?

again, i need you to elaborate on this

I really question whether Parker could handle playing in a major market. I think the media scrutiny could become a problem. Also, if he can' guard 3 and 4's at Duke, I don't see how he will get better in the pros. I just don't see his game growing much more then what he is now. I have little doubt he will be a 17 ppg and 7 rebs for his career. For me, that isn't top 3 worthy. He's not athletic enough to guard 3's or big enough to guard 4's.

If the Sixers are scared off from Embiid, gotta go Exum (IMO). I really fear Embiid slips to Celtics and Lakers and is dominant. Unless his foot falls off, I would still take Embiid if Wiggins is gone.

I like Parker. 17 PPG is about the floor for his offensive ability. He has 25+ PPG potential. He's not great defensively, but if he improves his off the ball defense, he'll be fine.

Coaches often shield their leading scorers from guarding the better players on the other team.

If they draft Embiid and sit him a year, no big deal. The Sixers shouldn't make the playoffs anyway. Go back in the lottery. If they can't get Wiggins and are afraid of the medical on Embiid, draft Exum at #3 and move up to ensure you get Saric.

He's had 2 stress fractures and he's likely to put on 20-25 lbs. Can his bones handle the weight he's going to be constantly putting on them?
