I personally dont give a poop if a guy is 6' 8" if he plays soft. I'd rather have guys that play tough. Andrew Shaw is 5' 10" and plays tougher than most guys 6'3" +. Height to me is not that important. - Iggysbff
Heights not important... unless you think more weight, leverage, strength, reach, ability to see over crowds and a bigger cock is a good thing.

Watched a reel of myers on youtube and its about ten clips of him destroying dudes with nothing more than a half step up on them and a little bit of shoulder.
We're not talking 6'1 and 205.
He's a fuking mammoth at 6'8 and 230 + |

Yup. Just to put it in perspective for some of you if you're not giants: the difference between someone who's 6'6" pushing someone who's 6'0" is about the same as someone who's 6'0" pushing someone who's 5'6"... there's just no competition from the 5'6" guy right? (unless he's built like a mini-tank and skates like the wind when he comes at you).
Edit: and 230 seems light for a guy who's 6'8". I think Chara is listed at 260 at 6'9" and that sounds about right |

I don't know if I fully agree with this. Unless the 6'6 guy is smart enough to know how to use his size effectively, I don't think it plays that big of a part.
For example, a friend of mine I play hockey against is 6'7 and around 220 but I (6'2 190ish) never have many problems playing against him unless it's in the corners. Even then, it's not a serious problem; just a matter of outsmarting the big lug.
I can, however, see your point as there's this other guy that I get to play against who's something like 6'5 that has to be one of the most cerebral players I've ever played against and I have the toughest time handling him.
What I'm getting at is that in my viewings of Myers- while they are limited- give me the impression he's more of the former. I just don't see him use his size effectively enough. He may some day learn, but he may just as likely not. |

For example, a friend of mine I play that gay version of hockey where we wear roller blades against is 6'7 and around 220 but I (6'2 190ish) never have many problems playing against him unless it's in the corners. Even then, it's not a serious problem; just a matter of outsmarting the big lug.
