While I agree Petry is a good player, I have watched him quite a few times, he's not the weapon Myers is.

Myers is an impact player, Petry is a solid top 4 defensemen.

I think Myers can be an impact player but was more of a 2nd pairing guy, like Petry, this year.

I don't really have any doubt that Myers is better than Petry, but they were just about a wash this season IMO. This convo has been all about if Myers can revert back to being an impact Dman

I saw some great things. Albeit in a small sample size.
But by all accounts from most of the buff fans on hb (the one'3 whos opinion I respect anyway) he was really good in the time frame u mentioned

Myers said a big problem was the pressure he felt. If he's feeling pressure in buffalo, imagine a market like Edmonton. Ask some fans what they think of Yak after a bad season. It's no wonder he hasn't been on twitter since 2013.
