Well he is, just happened to be born here and was taught the NA style of hockey. He was prepared for it, whereas other Euro aren't. It's not a knock against Euro's. I mean it's not their fault where their folks fornicated or what country they slipped out of their mother.

Which is why Edmonton is still so bad.

Like I said, Yakupov has the talent he needs to be successful, he just needs to straighten out his attitude. And it's not a "Russian" thing, it's the "he's run his yap and made himself look bad" thing.

Difference is, you can at least make the argument that his play warrants his demands. I'm not so sure that's correct, but his play is having a lot more impact for Colorado than Yakupov's is for Edmonton.

Problem is parenting. Kids these days have no etiquette. Either no one taught it to them or they do give a sh!t what's being said to them. I see it every weekend at work. You yell at them to cut it out or you're outta here and they look at you like you aren't gonna talk to me that way. Well guess what? I am going to and you have 3 options, behave, leave, or I make you leave. I may look like an old man to you but let me tell you, you don't want option 3, so be a good boy and take option 1.

Hell I see adults acting this way, just last week I came across a guy in his 40's saying we don't have the stones to go through what he has and he should be respected and he can do whatever he wants.

Needless to say he was quickly escorted, but then came back and was arrested.

As much as I would love to see Ekblad, drafting him and then trading Myers to draft a forward as well is counter-productive.
