Why do those who hate soccer have to tell me how much they hate it? Its kinda weird.

As I sit here sipping some coffee, I think, "What will this all look like when draft day hits?"
-Will we keep #2 and select one of the top 5 (Ekb, Ben, Rein, Drai, or Dal Co)
-Do they trade back into the first? If so, where?
-Is there a BIG draft day trade made by us or to us that has us unbelievably not sure if we should be happy or raid the streets for booze and hookers?

What are your draft day predictions for the Sabres moving forward? IF there is a trade, could be roster for roster or picks for players...I need something to keep my interest this morning...

The Wire is really, really good. But I think Deadwood was better. Writing is great on both, but the acting was better on Deadwood, and there were more great characters on Deadwood.

Mexico shutting out Brazil at home is still a pretty entertaining result. I'm not a big soccer fan but the World Cup of dusting would entertain me. I love world competitions.

I always find soccer fan the most fun to mess with. I love football and hockey, but if someone comes out and tells me they hate it, or starts to make fun of it, even maliciously at times, I just shrug it off. Soccer fan almost always wants to fight you, and it's like holding your arm straight out on a kid's forehead while he swings away at your mid section but can't reach.

I'm just picking on him. I don't mind soccer, but I'm also not a fan of it that's going to care about it. I'll pay attention to the scores of the US in the World Cup and that's about it.

The US game was on at 6 on Monday right after work. I went outside and did yard work instead.

So when do the dominoes start falling? With 9 days until the draft it could be as soon as a week where we see some trades I would think.

I think we are very open to a) trading the second overall and b) trading up for another top ten pick. The Ekblad interview someone posted spoke volumes on what TM is looking for in a player. While it doesn't rule out drafting Sam Reinhart, I'm not sure if he is satisfied taking a steady safe pick. That leads me to believe they are targeting Ehlers, Virtanen and Draisaitl. Could be completely off base, but we'll see.

Agreed on the cap hit point, TOTALLY disagree on how you're valuing Kadri and Gardiner. Both have very high ceilings, extremely skilled and coveted by many teams - especially Jake Gardiner

He's a guy that skates really fast, can handle the puck, but when he does it rarely amounts to anything.

If the guy ever get's it together he's gonna be a good one

This draft, just like this years NFL draft is hard to predict since there is such little elite talent. That is why I hope we just stay where we are and draft Sam R. I have a feeling we trade or attempt to trade the pick though.
