Ship kane out because he's tired of playing with.......Saad, Shaw, Kruger, Handzus, Bolland, Regin, Smith, and the list goes on....Really? He's tired of putting up near a point a game basically skating a man down due to the fact that the above listed have FAR LESS SKILL then Kane?

Shocking.....get this kid a legit center and then watch at what he can do. Hart? yes. Richard? No. He doesn't have the shot to win a Richard unless Ovechkin and Stamkos both were to get hurt in the same year.

Make no mistake, 88 wants to win as badly as anyone else in that locker-room. Funny how all this crap about him leaks out, or about sharp, but others are protected by the media. I find that fascinating.

The Hawks will NOT trade Kane unless Kane asked to be traded or refuses to sign. Those are the only 2 variables.

I'll also say this....in 2010 Duncan Keith won the Norris after the local media went out begging for votes. They even went so far to claim he had new skates when his play suffered to take the spot light off his bad play at the time...Then the jag off forgets to thank Seabrook when he won the Norris at the awards ceremony. So yeah, Kane and Sharp are the only ones on this team with ME attitudes.

Think Seabrook is tired of being overlooked because his partner can skate really fast, refuses to stop blasting shots from the point into shin pads or off the boards or into the netting? Or misplays 2 on 1s and allows tap ins on busted plays? Or has to take grenade after grenade and get hit because of it?

Yeah...silly us......damn those Patricks. Such me players.....

I'll say it again...Drew Doughty plays with Muzzin. Keith plays with Seabrook.

Seabrook > Muzzin
Doughty > Keith

Wonder how much the gap would widen if Doughty had Seabrook and Keith had Muzzin?

It's ok.....Keith > Doughty at shirtless commercials whipping around the rope.

in this case Kane has a very legitimate beef, his goal production with Zus at center in 310 minutes.....1 goal

I'm guessing team Canada put Keith on the Olympic team because the local media pled his case? I'm guessing also that Yzerman and Babcock decided to use Keith as a top pairing defenseman on the best defense in the tournament for his skate issues? And Seabrook didn't make the team because I'm again guessing Keith somehow convinced Team Canada not to include him? Come on Steve, you can do better than that.

Keith is a great player.

He's also a raging jag off. Make NO mistake about that.

That's my point......When was the last time you heard Foley or Eddie O or Pierre rip Keith during a telecast for one of his F ups? It never happens? Yet they will rip Seabrook or Hammer.

Same holds true for Toews. Never gets ripped but others do.

It's selective criticism, and it's ridiculous.

I really hope Hossa is talking with Stastny and telling him something like this - we will pay you more this season than Col offers you. Then after Toews/Kane are signed, we can focus on getting you signed so we can win more cups together.

Kane was left on an island to start the year when the coaching staff decided to move Sharp to the 1st line. Was it a favor to get him on Team Canada? Who the hell knows. However, it was done, and Kane was left playing with the scrap heap.

The kid is amazing.....the work ethic, competitiveness, want to be the best is there but so many just see him as this pouting alcoholic which isn't remotely true. His play 200 ft is night and day compared to what it was in 2008-09.

We still don't even know how GREAT Kane can be because he gets to play with the junior varsity.

Stasny isn't coming here. He may take less to stay in Colorado, but that's where that thought ends.

STL would be an ideal landing spot for him IF he doesn't resign. Rumor has it there is a deal on the table and the Avs are waiting to hear back from his camp.

I see some of what you're saying but Toews was getting the Sharp treatment pretty good last year during that scoreless spell in last year's playoffs.

Seabrook is destined to be the most underappreciated player from this era of Hawk hockey.

How does what the media say about a player make said player a 'jag off'?

The same way that Olgi knows that Sharp is a jag.

I could be wrong, but i honestly have no fear of Kane NOT resigning in Chicago. Worst case scenario, the Hawks put him on the block and make a killing. Yeah it would suck to lose him, but there could be a nice return for Kane if a deal doesnt get worked out in time.

Its win win

That's true but very rarely do the local media or media with tie ins to Canada rip Keith or Toews.

Seabrook will go down as one of the most underrated players in Blackhawks history. No question about it. Guy is money when the big games come. I would love to see him paired with Leddy to give Leddy a calming reliable partner on the back end and get his confidence up.

Part of the problem is the Hawks have 5 forwards who would be first line players on almost all the teams in the NHL. Getting a fit on the second line in terms of a player with skill who fits in the cap as well as ensuring there is depth in the bottom 6 must be a nightmare. I can understand Kane's frustration about the situation but I can't understand him publicly holding the team ransom.

He's not going anywhere.....not unless kane tells Wirtz he wants to be traded.

Lets not forget Kane lived with the Bowman family early on in his career so I would venture to guess his relationship with Stan Bowman is pretty tight. If any person he has an issue with, I would wager it's McDonough. Who likes to control EVERYTHING.

The man with the worst job in the Blackhawks organization is Brandon Faber.

I dont see why the Hawks couldnt aquire the top pick in ANY draft plus additional picks/prospects/roster players. Its just not as dire of a situation as everyone wants to make it out to be

Have you heard him say it publicly? Ever? I recall him touting the company line that he is looking forward to what Shaw/Saad and he can do next year. Is that Bs? Probably, but I don't recall him EVER pining for another player or pouting about it.

Now, behind closed doors? Could be. My whole point is, I just find it odd that some of these things leak out about certain guys but not about ALL the guys.

Now if you ever see local media start to question or shed a dark light on Kane, you know what's coming.....That's why the Sharp trade buzz is real. They already painting that picture to soften the back lash IF they trade him.

As fast as McDonough can build you up, he can also tear you down....From 1998-2004 Sammy Sosa was a god. Then in a blink of an eye, a leaked security camera shows him leaving the last game early, and poof......he's gone.
