I think to get #3 overall have to be a Ehrhoff/Foligno type package. They need experience on blueline and size in their top 6 F's. Not that Marcus is top 6 material at this point.

Then why get him ? If he does nothing for the team . But he is not going anywhere . They will get his deal done right after Stastny . He is a RFA so they have more time to get his deal done. Colorado has lots of cap room to get everyone in and move forward.

ROR is a good 2nd line Center. That is all.

Not giving up that for a second line Center.

Colorado is just not going to let him get away . If he is really after the dough. Sign a bridge deal that gets you to being a UFA . Then go for huge dough . He would be nuts to leave that situation for a few extra dollars
