Id still take Reinhart. I'd just keep the Hoff

I think a trio of Girgensons/Duchene/Reinhart, with possibly Grigorenko on the wing could look deadly.

Hoff/Risto
Pysyk/McCabe
Zadarov/ FA or trade

Judging by his play last year, he wanted zero to do with being here.

If the right deal came along, I'd move him and not think twice.

Idk, but if I was ehrhoff I'd accept a deal to the AVs
- jdfitz77

IMO they need someone more dynamic than Hoff.

Oh I agree. I'm hoping they move him now. But as we know Myers has the better value. If Myers could land a legit 1st line player, as much of a Myers lover I am... I wouldn't be upset

Judging by what Murray said about Myers, Girgs, and Risto that if you want them be prepared to pay (aka as overpay), I'd say the same could be said for Mackinnon, Duchene, and ROR on Colorado's part.

I just don't see a deal as both organizations would be looking for the overpay.

Our future centers imo will be...
McDavid/Eichel
Reinhart/Bennett
Girgensons

That makes Ennis, Hodgson & Grigorenko wingers or trade bait imo
Bc he's shown to be a good scorer AND good defensively (the above have not)...
ROR is very appealing to me
Plus he's shown the flexability to play well at center or wing

IMO he doesn't have the top end skill we need.

We need guys with 30-40 goal 70-80 point potential. We shouldn't be moving any big peices for anything less.

I like O'Reilly, but the guy is not a good enough offensive player IMO.

People say he's Bergeron, but Bergeron has had two 70 point seasons by the age of 21.

Why trade your best defensive forward to improve the teams defense? This is why I think they'd rather move a more 1 dimensional player
- OneKaneOneCup

Ideally they won't
But the contract is obviously an issue they don't have with Duchene

Where is the proof that he's a great leader? Where are the results? Why was it so easy for New York to move on?

I've been waiting months for someone to answer this. Ranger fans have already forgotten about him

Sabres will see this and sign him quick ..

The norm is in the 20 range and 52-64.

He's only scored 30+ goals twice.

If Buffalo is looking at creative ways to hit the cap floor, they should look at aquiring Marc Savards contract.

3 yrs at 4.027 cap hit.

3 yrs 2.65 in real dollars.

I'm fine with it.

I also like the Umberger idea.

I'd love to pry one of their prospects away in exchange for one of our NHL'ers

Adam's right's and a 2015 3rd for Umberger.

Much cheaper option than Callahan.

His contract expires at the ideal time.

He is a leader.

I'm ok with umberger
I don't think Adam has much trade value though
I'd like to see him sink or swim on the Sabres this year
