Who is aviable on those teams? - RogerRoeper
Might be able to pull a Center or D-Man from there. Asinimov, Umburger, Wiz, Tyutin...who knows? They might want to make room for younger players. |

I don't think Tampa will do it. A dynasty is damn tough, as Chicago isn't even a dynasty (yet they claim to be). LA has to win next year for it to be one.
Cap makes it close to impossible to do so. - classic321
3 cups in 4 years, ....geez, they lowered the standard from what a Dynasty used to be |

The problem with Toronto us players are crapped-on so much Dion actually was having a terrific defensive season And ran out-of-gas due to playing the toughest minutes in the entire NHL.
Shea Weber would get criticized in Toronto. |

Well if by relics you mean seasoned veteran players...we actually need a few of those. - Jeropotato
As in Manny Maholtra Willie Mitchell and Jussi Jokinen .All cheaper UFAs with tons of experience . |

Offer sheets could make the NHL very fun. Problem is, no one uses them. |

Yeah but they'll play very small roles and have limited impact. |

Wrong . Maholtra is still one of the best face off guys and a great teacher.
Mitchell 2 cups in four years . Dion not so many. Willie great teacher also. |

Hey Edmonton, if I here the habs and you were edmonton would you entertain a deal starting from:
To mtl:
-Perron
To edm:
-Georges
This isn't a rumour, I haven't put much thought into it, nor do I know if I would want to do it. I'm just having fun thinking about it. Georges' caphit is around 4M.
Georges mentored Subban, maybe he would be the type of leader/stay at home guy to play with Shultz? Thoughts? |

Steve yzerman is building tampa up like the redwings In late 80's early 90's. He has a owner in tampa that will also spend to the cap! He man not win 3 cups but tampa bay is gearing up for a cup run in the next few years. |

Whatever, at the end of the day, look, we already have a 7 mil lazy player named Brian Campbell, no more room for another and throwing 14 at both would make no sense. Don't want him. - PanthersGoal
I would like to get Campbell off of your team...just FYI. That contract is almost finished, and he would be a good mentor for our young guys.

All of those guys would help the Oilers at least marginally. Maybe not MM. |

if I were the oilers, I'd turn that down.
Perron was the best Oiler most nights I watched them play.
only offensive oiler to play with a real edge/dirty play.
