What did he say again.... ?

http://www.985sports.ca/l...gard-sur-la-se-227705.mp3

He said he expects/ would not be surprised to see an 'impact' forward traded for a top4 D. He said it could also be for another forward.

He wouldn't name the player, but when Langlois asked him if it was Plekanec he said no quite fast, then said he wouldn't give any names.

After listening to it, I guessed he was talking about Pacioretty. He said the player in question was at the end of the road with the Habs and that the GM was disappointed with how it went against the Rags, that some players didn't show up.

He also said White and Tokarski could be added to trades, and that Gorges has value on the market.

He said lot's of teams inquired about White.
One of the top 6 players that just entering his prime was/could be traded. (so no plek here)
Toka has value and will most probably be dealt.

He then speculated on Gorges being offered.

edit: (frank) you QP

so Montreal, a team that for years--YEARS--has been looking for players with size who can put the puck in the net, has no interest in bringing back Thomas Vanek, AND they want to unload Max Pacioretty. smells like a little bit of bullpoop in all that. Pacioretty is going nowhere. in case no one has notices, $4.5 million forwards who can score 35-40 goals are quite rare.
