Only to people who haven't watched him play for the last 5 years or so...
Probably check his face off stats and assume he plays center.

With the draft approaching I'm getting excited about positive steps forward for the Sabres. It gets me thinking about all kinds of scenarios. What are your thoughts on a trade with San Jose , Havlat and #20 for #31 as a salary dump (for the Sharks) as many have discussed earlier? Also, packaging #20 with Ehrhoff would get us how much higher? To #7 as TM had mentioned he would like to reach? I would think Anaheim at #10 could be a target.

Will Havlat waive his NMC?

With the promise of moving him at the trade deadline to a contender I can only hope. Changes seem inevitable in San Jose and some players will feel the pressure to move on.

Those ain't people . They are faces stuck in a book that have no clue how the real world looks outside. The book has translated to a computer screen in this technological age. With a idiotic comment representing a persons beliefs for all to see by via a few keystrokes.

God help us when this generation takes over. hope I have alzheimers by then.

Well said. I would also add something in about saying things behind a screen where people can't provide a rebuttal. Internet brings a lot of stupid out that wouldn't be said in face to face combat

San Jose needs to reboot. It just isn't working, how long will they keep the same losing formula?

Both rangers goals were pretty good. But I think Quick should have that Boyle one. It was a nice shot but he dropped his glove and boyle took advantage

The NHL probably would have been able to get away with simply starting each game in the 3rd period. You know, when the Kings decide that they finally want to play.

Im just happy all the games are at night. Ratings would get poop on if there was an afternoon game during the WC

There has been more scoring chances in this overtime than the Sabres had all year

There hasn't been a Cup Final game during the afternoon in years.

Really? I feel like there's been one in the last few years? Perhaps I was overseas but I could swear they used to have them not too long ago.

After this year probably not, or at least not without overpaying.

Still can't believe the rangers got McDonagh for Gomez even after his pitiful season and terrible contract.

That's got to be up there for worst trade of all time no?

The Hasek trade is still higher until McDonagh becomes a hall of Famer which is possible

Rangers have no business hanging in there, but credit to the Blueshirts.

And if that Jeff Carter played with half the heart he displays in the playoffs, he'd be a fifty-goal scorer.

They've put in pretty good team effort, sloppy at times and the powerplay was bad for a stretch (until midway through this game) but overall it's been good enough considering who they've got in net.

As for Carter, he hasn't really been the same sniper that he was with philly, on the flip side though, much much better in the playoffs. I'd say thats a pretty good trade off, he did finish with 27 goals this year.
