Myers being only 24 he has shown some great thing in the past. (calder 4yrs ago) This season should show everything he has . regarding Defense taking more time to mature. I mentioned before last season ,there was too many that shined as a Sabre. Myers showed getting back to form. I will give him next season to prove he could be a franchise player.

Do you honestly think he or even Ehrhoff wouldn't produce more on a team like Chicago or Pittsburgh? Or that his +/- wouldn't be much better? Do you really think guys like Matt Niskanen or Jonny Oduya are better?

If Ehrhoff can land me pulkinnen and Sheahan is rather that then Marchand. I'm of the belief that his stats are inflated by his surrounding teammates, I don't think he'd be nearly as good on this team.

I think Marchand could be a product of many things (linemates, system, etc.), but his motor and passion are things you cannot teach.

I don't care what Murray said. He also said that if you want Myers, Risto, or Girgensons be prepared to pay up. Brad Marchand doesn't qualify, regardless of whether you have his jersey or not.

Sadly, you're wrong as usual.

1. Less than $2 mill when comparing a 2 player pairing vs another 2 player pairing. The difference comes down less than $1 mill per player, which is peanuts in pro sports.

2. Myers is paid more than Duncan Keith, & only $3,000 less than Seabrook. The difference in the payouts isn't even attributed to him!!! So trying to spin your argument to say that Myers is somehow $2 mill cheaper than Keith or Seabrook is a total fallacy!!!

Gets Offensive Dman. If Boyle doesn't sign. Has good contract. As well as they will at least get their pick back in 2015. Can add or subtract but if they are in a win now mode. I don't see any other options for Dman with length left. Again its just a proposal so no need to get the dogs out.
